Scenario
CIA Agent Joe tries to balance his personal and professional life as the spearhead of the agency’s war on terror. Real military advisors helped produce a more authentic execution of weapons handling, house clearing, positioning, teamwork, etc.
This is a step too far, however
I’m a fan of Yellowstone and most of Taylor Sheridan’s work. Now obviously things have to go wrong for the plot to develop, but wow!
They screw up every operation they undertake
This group of seemingly special agents is inept. From the opening scene where they let the insurgents start attacking before they realize they might be bad guys to the ridiculous decision to use an unhappy, unlikeable woman (the main character) to befriend a lively party target.
And that’s correct
I’d go along with it if it weren’t for the fact that this shit is supposed to be taken seriously. Others here have already said that the main character is portrayed as some kind of supergirl.
She’s like a terminator!
My main problem, though, is that she’s really unlikeable.
